CoNvergence 07 review.
CONvergence is by far still my favorite convention. It offers enough of the big events most conventions offer and it's very unique in it's presentation of it's room parties. I think most of that is a benefit of the layout of the hotel as the Sheraton lends itself very well to the the masses at CONvergence. We had a longer than expected trip to get to CONvergence on Friday but once there everything was fun. Saw just a few panels on Friday before heading to the opening ceremonies. Then it was off to the room parties. Some of the best ones worth noting, were Willy Wonka's night out (AGAIN) Dystopia 2007, and the Mos Icee cantina. Saturday we got to go to alot more panels, and then the Masquerade as well. Didn't feel like the Masquerade was as good this year. Partied a little bit but not too late like most of the con. Got up sunday and attended a few more panels, saw a few luke ski songs, and thanks to staying one extra night got to go watch Serenity in Cinema Rex. What a great weekend. Can't wait to go again in 2008, for FOUR DAYS!

Glad you had a good time at CONvergence! We have a blast throwing the party, and love hearing how you liked it. We'll be back next year. :)
