Xbox 360 owners get comic-con for free!

Xbox 360 owners (including yours truly) are getting a real treat this weekend from xbox live and Warner Bros. Tons of free coverage of panels, new movie trailers, including Get Smart, and some really neat stuff for pay like a Superman and Batman theme. Im thousands of miles away from Comic-con, but this gets me a little closer.

Of all the cons, nothing fuels the geek fires like San Diego Comic Con. No matter what your vibe their will be something announced here that sets you off, be it a movie, a new comic, a new video game, and even brand new got to find on ebay toys. So what are you looking forward to the most? Me Im looking forward to Star Trek 11 news, as I really hope JJ Abrams knows what he is doing.

The Penny Arcade Expo, better known as PAX a celbration of all things video gaming is coming up next month. So what did they pick for the first round of there awesome Omegathon tourney. None other than Jenga, the actual physical game. Oh the irony. who got bumped from the first round? None other than Pac-man.

Furries at a tug of war.

One of the best parts of doing this site is I get to search out stuff like this from Anthrocon last week in PA. The only thing better than this madness, is well, not much.

CoNvergence 07 review.

CONvergence is by far still my favorite convention. It offers enough of the big events most conventions offer and it's very unique in it's presentation of it's room parties. I think most of that is a benefit of the layout of the hotel as the Sheraton lends itself very well to the the masses at CONvergence. We had a longer than expected trip to get to CONvergence on Friday but once there everything was fun. Saw just a few panels on Friday before heading to the opening ceremonies. Then it was off to the room parties. Some of the best ones worth noting, were Willy Wonka's night out (AGAIN) Dystopia 2007, and the Mos Icee cantina. Saturday we got to go to alot more panels, and then the Masquerade as well. Didn't feel like the Masquerade was as good this year. Partied a little bit but not too late like most of the con. Got up sunday and attended a few more panels, saw a few luke ski songs, and thanks to staying one extra night got to go watch Serenity in Cinema Rex. What a great weekend. Can't wait to go again in 2008, for FOUR DAYS!

S.K.I.N. concert at Anime Expo looks insane.

I know anime expo is huge but that's an arena sized concert that many bands who have radio songs could not fill. Good for Anime Expo.

Botcon photo's are fantastic

Photo's are going up day by day on the Botcon website. Check out the whale tour. I have a feeling that next year's Botcon will explode with the movie coming out next week and rekindling all that nostalgia as well as making new fans. Hope you all got your exclusive figures.
