yes! con-news to attend Capricon 28!

We are pleased to let everyone know that thanks to our recently aquired work scheldule we will be attending Capricon 28 in Arlington Heights, IL on the 16th and 17th of FEB 2008. We are only going to be able to make it on Saturday and Sunday but we look forward to all the swashbuckling antics! Any con-news readers attended a previous Capricon? send us your tips.

CES KICKS OFF Tonight.

R.I.P. HD-dvd. At least that's what im hearing we be the talk of the electronics world after CES in done this week. With Warner jumping to blue ray it really only leaves Paramount in HD's pocket. Anyway Microsoft's Bill Gates kicks things off tonight with a press conference. Rumors say it will involve licensing the xbox brand to other manufacturers (much like dvd players are made by many people) Would be a interesting step in the console business if this pans out. These shows are not for us the public con goer, but we often get some pretty great genre news out of them.
